The development of the Windows 10 Your Phone application has apparently been arduous for engineers, as few feature sets have been released since Your presentation in the last year. Features such as full MMS messaging support, notification retransmission and screen mirroring have taken time to reach Windows Insiders.
That said, it seems that your phone may expand its list of functions in the near future to include real telephone dialing and presumably support for receiving calls.
The Italian blog site Aggiornamenti Lumia captured some screenshots of the settings of a dial pad in the Your phone application, as well as a new Call selection tab (in Preview) in the interface. Further investigation reveals that, if released, users can choose to have their phone display their phone's screen, make and manage calls from the phone, as well as pop-up notification cards to alert incoming calls.
Microsoft and its Windows team have not yet confirmed the test or the validity of the function, but the Screenshots are within the line of something that could and should reach Your Phone.
While it is being tested internally, it should not take long before Skip Ahead and Fast Ring Insiders start watching A / B versions of versions released with the feature enabled.
