Windows 10 May 2019 Update gets a long list of fixes with new build 18362.267

Following the release of new patches for earlier versions of Windows 10 a couple of days ago, Microsoft yesterday released an optional update for the May 2019 update, or version 1903. Version 18362.267 offers a fairly long list of corrections Quality for Microsoft Edge, Windows Hello, Bluetooth and more.

A notable change in this update is related to Windows Ink Workspace, which offers a simplified menu and direct integration with the Microsoft Whiteboard application. You can check the complete list of corrections and improvements below:

  • Fixes a problem that does not record the last login of a local user even when the user has accessed the server's network share.
  • Addresses a problem that may affect the trust relationship of the domain when you enable the Recycle Bin in the domain that established the trust relationship.
  • Resolves a problem that prevents Windows Hello Face authentication from working after a reboot.
  • Update the time zone information for Brazil.
  • Addresses a problem to allow Microsoft Edge to print PDF documents that contain horizontal and vertically oriented pages.
  • Fixes a problem with PDF files that are set to open only once in Microsoft Edge.
  • Addresses a problem that may display colors incorrectly when viewing an image on 10-bit display panels.
  • Resolves a problem that may prevent you from changing the screen brightness when using certain afte graphics drivers
  • Solves a problem in which the Windows Graphics Device Interface (GDI +) returns a family name of empty source for Bahnschrift.ttf.
  • Solves a problem that can cause the mouse to press and release an event sometimes produces an additional mouse movement event.
  • It solves a problem that can cause the UI to stop responding for several seconds when moving in windows that have many secondary windows.
  • Addresses a problem that cannot prevent automatic login (Autologon) by pressing and holding the Shift key during startup.
  • Resolves a problem that can prevent a device from going to Sleep mode when certain Bluetooth-based applications are open.
  • Fixes a problem that can reduce Bluetooth audio quality when using certain audio profiles for extended periods.
  • Solve a problem that prevents Microsoft Application Virtualization (App-V) scripts from working if you run it when you are not connected to a domain with a Controller (DC). App-V scripts also fail when you run it in an environment that only contains Microsoft Azure Active Directory.

  • Fix a problem with UE-V that sometimes prevents exclusion paths from working.

  • Resolves a problem that prevents a system from recognizing a Microsoft account or an Azure Active Directory account until the user logs off and log back in.   • Addresses a problem with the opening or use of the Window-Eyes screen reader application that may cause an error and prevent some functions from working as expected.
  • Resolves a problem that prevents an App-V application from opening and shows a network failure error. This problem occurs in certain circumstances, such as when a system's battery is low or there is an unexpected power failure.
  • Resolves an issue that prevents an App-V application from opening if the client is offline and a startup script is defined in the App-V application.
  • Addresses a rare problem that causes Advanced Windows Threat Protection (ATP) to temporarily prevent other processes from accessing files.
  • Addresses a problem that causes the menu Start to stop responding when new users log in to Windows 10, version 1903.
  • Update Windows Ink Workspace by simplifying the menu and adding direct integration with the Microsoft Whiteboard application for a richer collaboration experience.

There are still some known issues in this compilation, including one that causes devices connected to a domain that is configured to use MIT Kerberos realms to not start under certain circumstances. "At this time, we suggest that devices in an affected environment do not install this update," Microsoft said in the release notes, adding that it expects to launch a solution in mid-August.
