Microsoft has just announced the release of Windows 10 20H1 build 18975 for Fast Ring Insiders, which brings some improvements to the new Cortana beta application that is currently only available to Insiders in the United States. From this compilation, Microsoft will implement the ability to drag Cortana windows across the screen to 50% of Fast Ring Insiders users. The Cortana application windows can also be resized like any other application, and this seems to be a positive change overall.

In addition to these Cortana updates. Microsoft also announced that the ability to rename virtual desktops should now be available to all Insiders in Fast Ring. This is a minor update in general, but you can check the full details about the news below:

Introducing the ability to move the Cortana window

With Cortana's new conversational experience, we understand that you want to keep the chat in March sometimes, and the default position of the window is not always where you would prefer to have it docked if you are going to have more round trip time. That is why we are beginning to display the option of being able to move the window (dragging the area of the title bar), to any place you want on the screen, just as you can do with other windows. You can also change the window size if you wish. Currently, this change extends to 50% of the Insiders with the new Cortana experience, and we will continue the deployment as we validate the quality of the experience.

Demonstrating the ability to make Cortana's window smaller, as well as move it.
