But the best reason is that Verizon CEO Hans Vestberg said it explicitly yesterday, during the company's quarterly earnings call, Q1 2019
"The Note and the Galaxy that will come this year will have 5G," he said, noting that Verizon also has an LG phone with 5G capacity, probably the LG V50 ThinQ, which will also reach its network.
If you were in the market for a Samsung 5G phone, you would probably expect at least the reviews of the Note 10, not only the Galaxy S10 5G seems like it could be a smaller phone, but today's 5G networks could really, really use more time to mature.
