- Adaptive hemisphere lights provide faster, clearer, more accurate image-based ambient lighting, completely eliminating the need for optical portals.
- Auto Exposure and Auto White Balance in V-Ray will automatically adjust to produce the best results while enjoying the artistic freedom of focusing on depth of field and motion blur.
- V-Ray Denoiser now offers some modifications and new features:
- NVIDIA AI denoiser: VRayDenoiser rendering elements now come with a denoising engine menu that allows you to default V-Ray Denoiser Choose between V-Ray and NVIDIA AI. Based on the denoising algorithm. Compared to the default V-Ray noise reducer, the NVIDIA AI noise reducer requires an NVIDIA GPU to work with some advantages and disadvantages. For example, the NVIDIA AI Noise Chopper can perform denoising faster, but it is inconsistent when de-noising rendered elements. - ActiveShade mode is no longer supported. V-Ray and V-Ray GPUs cannot be selected as renderers for ActiveShade mode.
- V-Ray GPUs do not support certain materials, and these materials are hidden from the UI when the V-Ray GPU is selected as the current renderer.
- When the V-Ray GPU is selected as the current renderer, the V-Ray GPU only partially supports certain materials, and the unsupported parameters will be grayed out.
