The predominant strategy in the mobile space with regards to cameras these days seems to be that "more is always better" and leaks ( courtesy of OnLeaks which is published in CashKaro ) of a new Motorola device, still unknown, which has four rear handles, seems to indicate that the company is throwing itself headlong into the trend.
The details at this stage are predictably thin, but we do know some things: in addition to the large number of cameras, the device will offer a 6.2-inch screen with a tear-shaped notch (similar to the recent Motorola Moto G7 ) with a fingerprint sensor on the screen. Also visible is a USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is always appreciated in the world increasingly based on today's dongles.
Basically, there are two ways in which phones have implemented several back cameras at this point. The most common method, as seen in phones like the Galaxy S10 or the Huawei P30 Pro, presents different types of camera lenses for different photographic effects. The other (seen in devices such as the Nokia 9 five-camera), presents multiple iterations of the same lens that are fired simultaneously to capture different exposures of a scene for better detail.
We still do not know what kind of multi-camera array Motorola is using here, but given the identical look of the cameras and the fact that one of the images shows a "48MP" label next to the camera, it looks like Motorola Probably follow the steps of Nokia here with four 12 megapixel lenses.
As for the rest, including the size of the battery, the price, the release date and, more importantly, what kind of processor Motorola will install on this device (if it does). it reaches the market): we'll have to wait until Motorola officially announces things.
