These pieces of broken glass likely show the colors of Apple’s iPhone XR sequel

Last night, Bloomberg Mark Gurman tweeted an image of broken glass fragments that apparently reveal some of the new colors that Apple has planned to track its iPhone XR. The well-known black, white and yellow colors are back, but there are also green and purple pieces in the mix. It seems that they could be pieces of discarded manufacture or glass panels that did not pass the quality assurance tests.

As Gurman points out in his tweet, these two new options, which are said to replace the current blue and coral colors, were first reported by the Japanese blog Mac Otakara last week. It is likely that Apple will also produce a RED Product version again, although it is not seen in this image. The company seems to be opting for a more subdued and pastel selection this time.

The successor to the iPhone XR is expected to include a dual-lens rear camera system, while retaining the same general phone design as last year. Yesterday, Gurman also published an image of alleged moldings of boxes for the three iPhones 2019, which shows three rear cameras in both models of first level.

The iPhone XR is still the best choice for most people who are upgrading to one of Apple's newest phones, which offer the flagship technology of flagship phones and the best battery life of any iPhone, for less money than the iPhone XS and XS Max. The latest announcement from Apple's XR highlights the battery's resistance. The next iPhone line should be announced in September.
