There’s a clever app that puts a battery indicator around the Galaxy S10’s hole-punch camera

Energy Ring is a custom app that displays the battery life of your phone using the Hall Punch camera of the Galaxy S10. This app, first discovered in Android Police introduces a small ring around the lens and can be customized for color, thickness, orientation, and even 25% charge and decrease. It is free. So I think you can certainly write this under the "fun and cool" app because it's functional and visual.

However, the S10's hall punch camera may be annoying after a while because it was thought of as a way to carefully squeeze the original camera into a full-screen smartphone display. Thankfully, you can disable the indicator in situations where you are twice as distracted as watching a movie or playing in full-screen mode.

IJP for Android developers, including versions for Energy Bar and Galaxy S8 / S9 devices, are developing custom battery indicators for Android, but the Energy Ring app may still be the best. It uses a growing fanfare for Samsung's new hole-punch display.
