The OnePlus 6T launch is being rescheduled to avoid colliding with Apple’s event

OnePlus accelerates the release of OnePlus 6T by one day to avoid clashes with Apple's iPad Pro and Mac events on October 30th, announced yesterday. This change was a difficult decision announced by CEO Pete Lau in the OnePlus community forum. Both events were scheduled to take place in New York on the same day, but OnePlus announced it will hold the event on October 29th at the same venue and at 11:00 AM ET.

Sold out launch events So far, more than 1,000 confirmed attendees are ticketing events for OnePlus fans and press. In past events, OnePlus refunded the cost of a ticket when an attendee purchased the phone. OnePlus will now contact the attendees to notify them of the schedule change and suggest that the attendees cover travel expenses if they need to change their flights. The company is offering a full refund to ticket holders who can not attend.

OnePlus 6T has a rumor that it comes with a built-in fingerprint sensor with a built-in display and a small notch, so expectations for the new phone are high. Perhaps OnePlus will help Apple adjust the event schedule before removing the spotlight the next day.
