Mojang has just announced the next major update of the game, called "The Nether Update." The main game developers Jens Bergensten and Agnes Larsson announced it on stage during MineCon Live this afternoon, which brings new biomes, mobs and even "bartering" to make it possible to live in the dimension within the game, even if it is much more dangerous than The Overworld
The next part of Minecraft to be updated is … The Nether! This scary place is about to become much more attractive! Explore new biomes such as Soulsand Valley and Netherwart Forest, new mobs, commerce (well, more or less) and more!

Two announced new biomes: Soulsand Valley and Netherwart Forest, which gives the Nether a much needed depth. The first biome is very misty and sterile, which introduces blue flames into the game. The last biome could be a bit more significant, bringing strange alien vegetation and new atmospheric game mechanics to the world, as well as new hostile mobs that can serve as a source of food for the player.
Speaking of food, a new one not yet officially names the hostile mafia that is currently called the "Piglin Beast" (you can enter your suggestions for a better name!) Will be the source of livelihood for the player to survive without the need to access the Overworld. A second hostile mafia known as "Piglin" will be similar to Zombie Pigmen, minus the zombie, which will be aggressive for players (except those who wear golden armor). Players can also exchange with them by throwing items (they love gold) and receiving new items that have not yet been revealed at a future date.
While the Nether could be the focus of this new update, the game is also receiving a new block to improve the accuracy of the crossbow. It will work with Redstone, emitting an electric charge that is stronger as the arrow flies and hits closer to the center.
And in other news, the program announced a couple of other tidbits. Mojang announced its next celebration of the game "Minecraft Festival" that will take place in Orlando Florida from September 25 to 27, 2020. In addition, Jens also said during the live broadcast that a new board game will be released, "Minecraft: Builders & Biomes. " later this year.
It looks like an ordinary board game … Oh, wait, that's not an ordinary board game! It's "Minecraft: Builders and Biomes", available later this year! Get more information at https://t.co/BJdLbjKvDw after the show! #MINECON
