Microsoft has released a new firmware update for Surface Headphones. Five months after the last update in March, it is not immediately clear what is new in this version, but now we see that the update appears through the Cortana Devices application in Windows 10 (through Windows Central).
This latest firmware reversal is available for download through the Cortana Devices application in Windows 10 or the Cortana application in iOS and Android, and will improve the version number from 188.8.131.52 to 184.108.40.206.21. Downloading and installing this update should take about 20 minutes, and as a reminder, when you install the latest update, you will also get all the previous updates if you have not already installed it.
If you choose to install it through Windows 10, you will need to connect your headphones to your USB port as part of the process, otherwise you can update over the air via Bluetooth on iOS and Android. A change log for this latest firmware update is not yet available, but we will update this article once one is available.
