Spectrum employee caught on camera stealing someone’s dog

Cable and broadband providers already have a rather low reputation for hidden fees and inconvenient configuration times, but I'm not sure they've committed a major sin, until now. Yesterday afternoon, a Spectrum employee in the Los Angeles area apparently stole a young girl's dog and left with him. Fortunately for the dog, the entire incident was captured by the family security camera.

On Monday night, Melissa Cortez posted the video on Twitter, tagging Spectrum and the local media and hoping that she The one-month pug puppy Andrew , would be returned home safely. The video circulated through social networks and in a matter of hours the local media responded.

In a tweet Cortez wrote that he had contacted Spectrum directly and filed a police report on Monday. Fortunately, he did not have to wait too long. In less than 24 hours, reportedly, the head of Spectrum security took him back home .

In a statement, Spectrum told The Verge that his security team had rectified the situation. "As part of its support for the Riverside Sheriff's investigation, Spectrum's safety has retrieved the dog and returned it to the owner," a spokesman said. "The employee involved has been informed that he has been dismissed."

The employee's name and position are not clear.

Now enjoy this healthy photo of the two who will finally meet on Tuesday afternoon. So cute.
