Sonos is delaying support for the Google Assistant by 2019. The company has posted it in today's blog post. In October 2017, Sonos announced that Google Assistant will come to Sonos One speakers in 2018, following support for Amazon's Alexa voice assistant. But over the past year, the integration has not materialized.
"While we were ready to depart in 2018, we needed more time to get the experience right, and now we are going to lock the date in 2019. Sonos wrote in the blog post. Patrick Spence, CEO of The Verge stated that the company is preparing to support Google Assistant at the end of 2018, but the schedule is clearly lacking
