Samsung unveils Galaxy Book S Always Connected PC powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8cx chip

Samsung has just announced a new Galaxy S PC always connected at its unpacked event in New York City. This new laptop will use Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx SoC, designed for the installation of laptops, offering Gigabit LTE connectivity and up to 23 hours of battery life.

Samsung did not share many hardware details about the Galaxy Book S today, but it will feature ultra-thin and lightweight design and use, and USB-C for charging. Samsung also mentioned today that the Galaxy Book S will use the same charger as the recently announced Galaxy Note 10

The Galaxy Book S will be priced at $ 999 and will begin shipping in selected markets in September, and we hope to see other PC manufacturers launch new Always Connected PCs using Snapdragon 8cx during the holiday season.
