Samsung is making an Under Armour edition of the Galaxy Watch Active 2

During the keynote of Samsung Note 10, it revealed a third version of the Galaxy Watch Active 2 that it recently launched: a special edition of the watch made in association with Under Armor. It will come in a version that supports a Bluetooth connection to your phone, but not LTE, and costs $ 30 more than the normal edition at $ 309. Samsung says it will come with preloaded software that integrates with the Under Armor fitness ecosystem .

The Under Armor MapMyRun application will be incorporated, which, like other fitness applications, allows you to track your careers on a map. Samsung is also adding six months of membership to the UA MVP version of MapMyRun, usually a cost of $ 6 per month. You must also pair directly with the connected Under Armor HOVR shoes, if you want to track even more data about your careers. The HOVR connection is exclusive for this edition of the watch.

The Galaxy Watch Active 2 is a small but important update of a smart watch that Samsung launched earlier this year. Samsung added a touch-sensitive bezel to the ring around the screen, which makes navigating your Tizen operating system much easier. Samsung also updated the materials to make it feel a little more premium, presumably the Under Armor edition takes it a little further.

The Galaxy Watch Active 2 also has an improved heart rate monitor compared to its predecessor, according to Samsung. ECG capabilities are integrated, but will not be active at launch. The three versions are expected to be available in late September.
