Samsung has announced the Galaxy J4 Core, its second Android Go phone

Samsung quietly released its second Android mobile phone, the Galaxy J4 Core. Android Police caught up with the Galaxy J2 Core released in the summer.

Like J2 Core, J4 core is still based on Android 8.1 Oreo version of Android Go, not Android 9 Pie. The J4 core has a slightly improved spec, but the resolution is 6 inches larger than a 1480 x 720 display, a 3,300 mAh battery, and doubles the storage capacity of 16GB.

The remaining specs are 1.4GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM. Unfortunately, the heart of Android Go is that it's designed to work well on less powerful devices. This camera is identical to J2 Core. It has a rear 8 megapixel shooter and a front 5 megapixel.

The price or availability is not yet known, but the list of products will not take long to get more information from the Samsung site.
