Samsung Galaxy S10 gets DeX support and Note 10 camera features

A new Galaxy S10 software update is bringing main features of the Note 10 to Samsung's other flagship phone line. SamMobile reports that the update is being implemented in certain regions at this time for Galaxy S10, S10 Plus and S10E, and includes support for DeX PC connectivity, Live Focus blur effects on video recordings and other features of the camera . It also includes this month’s Android security patch.

Samsung then confirmed that the launch had begun in Europe, and issued a second press release on October 1, adding that they had also come to the United Kingdom. Samsung says the features will be available in the US UU. Starting this week.

Samsung renewed its DeX concept with the Note 10, allowing you to access your phone's applications from any computer instead of requiring a separate monitor configuration. Perhaps, as expected, we discover that it remains an inelegant solution, since these things tend to be. But the extreme case functionality offers a better opportunity to work for anyone when it is not locked on a single device, so there may be Galaxy S10 users who find a use for this.

Update, October 28 at 5:52 p. m. ET: He added that the United States will receive the update this week.
