Nubia stuck a cooling fan in its latest gaming smartphone

A year after Nubia announced its original Red Magic game phone, and less than six months after the release of Red Magic 2, the company is back with another game smart phone called Red Magic 3. The big change for the third generation Red Magic's network of phones is refrigeration, which combines liquid cooling with an internal "turbo fan" that, according to Nubia, is the first in the industry.

Cooling has been a delicate point with smartphones focused on games in the past. The Razer Phone 2 had the annoying habit of getting quite warm under load, while you had to use a fan with an external clip if you wanted to actively cool the Asus ROG phone. Apparently, the Magic 3's built-in fan should solve both problems.

The phone's specifications also compare favorably with these other gaming phones. The Magic 3 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, a maximum of 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of onboard storage. For games specifically, there are a couple of capacitive shoulder buttons on the side of the device. Its 5,000 mAh battery should help you run energy-intensive games for longer periods of time, and can be charged quickly with up to 27 watts of power.

Externally, the Magic 3 has a 48-megapixel camera on the back and a 16-megapixel camera on the front. The AMOLED 6.65-inch screen has a FHD + resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and support for HDR. Oh, and there's a headphone jack.

The Nubia Red Magic 3 will be available in China starting May 3 for 2,899 yuan (around $ 430) before being released later in the countries, including the US. United States, United Kingdom and Canada, where prices have not yet been announced. [19659007]
