No Man’s Sky Beyond heading to Xbox One on August 14th

No Man’s Sky, the space survival game that finally hit Xbox One last year, will receive another free content update next week. This will be the seventh free game update after the Abyss and Visions updates, and will be released on August 14 on Xbox One and other platforms.

Hello Games founder Sean Murray explained on Xbox Wire that multiplayer was the main focus for this new content update:

Beyond brings, among a host of other features, a new social experience and radical multiplayer that allows players to meet and play together anywhere in the universe. We are inspired by our favorite multiplayer and MMO games, and, although we would never claim to be an MMO (this is an update without subscription, without micro transactions, free for all existing players), we believe it has many familiar elements for fans of such games .

We still don't have all the details for the Beyond update, and we probably have to wait until August 14 to find out. If you have not tried No Man & # 39; s Sky yet, the Xbox One version is currently priced at $ 49.99, and is also enhanced for Xbox One X with support for 4K and HDR graphics.
