Mozilla is bringing Firefox to Microsoft’s HoloLens 2

Microsoft has released a new HoloLens 2 headset. Mozilla is one of the first developers to promise support for the first HoloLens 2 headset. Mozilla is working with Microsoft to bring its immersive Firefox real-world browser to Hololens 2. Mozilla is the same browser developed for virtual reality and augmented reality headsets and is currently available on HTC's Vive headset, Oculus Go and Google Daydream headset.

Mozilla has developed a prototype for the Firefox Reality browser for HoloLens 2, and plans to offer a Firefox Reality browser on its original HoloLens headset. If HoloLens 2 is released in the summer, Mozilla's browser will also work on Microsoft's latest hardware. Mozilla is now building a servo platform that powers Mixed Reality plans, where you can track progress.
