Microsoft will live stream its October 2 Surface event (but we’ll be there too)

  Surface devices

A few weeks after announcing that it will hold a media event in New York City, Microsoft has continued to reveal that it will also broadcast the event live on its social media platforms. The event can be seen in full on Twitter, starting at 10:00 AM ET.

For those who follow Microsoft closely, this announcement should be quite surprising as the last two Surface's main hardware events have not been broadcast live. The revelations of Surface Headphones, Surface Pro 6, Surface Laptop 2 and Surface Studio 2 last year were well covered on Microsoft's social media channels and blogs, but never featured live videos. Prior to that, with the revelation of Surface Pro 2017 and Surface Pro LTE and Surface Book 2, Microsoft also did not broadcast live. Instead, the company simply revealed the devices through blog posts or social media.

Even for this year's revelation of this year's Surface Hub 2S, Microsoft did not make a live public broadcast. The last time Microsoft showed a Surface event for everyone to see live it dates from May 2017. That was the unexpected revelation of the original Surface Laptop.

With this year's event broadcast live, Microsoft could have a lot of surprises and surprises to reveal, maybe even for a long time there was talk about Surface Centaurus. We could even see a Surface Go with a Core M3 processor or Surface Pro with the latest Intel Ice Lake processors.

OnMSFT will attend the Surface event on October 2 of this year live, so be sure to keep it tuned here while the event takes place live.
