Microsoft reveals the Surface Pro 7 with USB-C

Microsoft today revealed the new Surface Pro 7 laptop, the latest in its series of Pro laptops. While somewhat eclipsed by the most striking Surface Pro X, the 7 still has some notable features of its own.

The new Surface Pro looks a lot like the Surface Pro 6 at first glance. It still has the 12.3-inch PixelSense screen. Almost the only external update that is worth nothing is a long-awaited USB-C port, the Surface Pro being one of the latest Microsoft products to receive it.

While outside See the same, the improved internal components are the order of the day. The Surface Pro 7 runs on tenth-generation Intel processors, which Microsoft says will allow it to run 2.3 times faster than previous generations. The base model comes with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, but can be updated to have up to 16 GB and 1 TB, respectively.

Most of the presentation time at the event was given to the new updates of Microsoft Edge and Surface Pen: the latter now offers handwriting recognition in the cell in Excel, by the way. The company also says that Surface Pro 7 will have better microphones to improve voice to text conversion.

Surface Pro is available for pre-order today, and will be available on October 22. It will be available in several colors. , and starts at $ 749.
