Microsoft reveals bigger 85-inch Surface Hub 2 model

Microsoft is creating an even larger version of its new Surface Hub 2 hardware. Today, at a press event in New York City, the software maker is unveiling a larger 85-inch Surface Hub 2 model. Unlike the smaller version of 50 inches, this larger model has a 16: 9 screen that is more in line with the original Surface Hub. Microsoft is using a 3: 2 aspect ratio on its new 50-inch Surface Hub 2S.

While the smaller Surface Hub 2 can be paved with up to four 50-inch panels from side to side, this larger 85-inch model is designed for companies looking for something even bigger. The head of Surface, Panos Panay, today introduced the new 85-inch model and briefly showed it between two of the 50-inch versions. However, Microsoft does not provide price or release dates for this larger model of Surface Hub 2.
