Microsoft has just announced the release of a cumulative update for Windows 10 20H1 build 18965 that was sent yesterday to Fast Ring Insiders. The new build 18965.1005 (KB4517787) does not include new features, and the Windows Insider team explained that the purpose of this new flight is to test its service stack.
#WindowsInsiders in the quick ring you will see an update to compile 18965 now available. It will review the build number at 18965.1005. “This cumulative update is a bit bigger since it is designed to help us test our service pipe with larger updates This update does not contain anything new. We simply update the version numbers of various components in the operating system, "the team explained in an update of the blog post for build 18965.
If you haven't already installed it, build 18965 is a minor update that brings new application restart settings, as well as updated Feedback Hub that should be implemented for all Insiders in Fast Ring. We hope that the next 20H1 flight is a regular version with more new features for Insiders.
