After the release of Windows 10 20H1 build 18970 for Fast Ring Insiders today, Microsoft is today releasing two new compilations for Windows Insiders in the Ring Release Preview. Because Microsoft is currently doing what it calls an "expedited delivery approach," only a subset of Inside Preview Insiders received its first version of 19H2 earlier this week, and that is why Microsoft is today sending two separate cumulative updates. for Release Preview Insiders currently in 19H2 and the rest still in the May 2019 update (19H1).
We have released a new cumulative update for #WindowsInsiders in the launch preview ring and we offered some clarifying messages re: 19H2: https: // t .co / YNjJ1IbIjY

If you belong to 10% of Insiders Inside Preview that received build 19H2 18363.327 earlier this week, you will get 19H2 Build 18363.329 today. The rest of Insiders in the Release Preview Ring will get the 19H1 Build 18362.329 compilation today, although both compilations actually include the following two fixes.
We solve a problem where in devices with LTE capability, some SIM cards of certain operators do not work properly.
We solve several problems that cause errors in some devices.
Microsoft will apparently continue to send cumulative updates separately for Release Preview Insiders in 19H2 and 19H1, although these updates will include the same fixes. This is what the Windows Insider team said about these service changes today:
To provide clarification on these versions: 19H1 and 19H2 share the same service content. That means they share the same cumulative update package. For the small subset of Windows Insiders (10%) in Release Preview who were given the option to install 19H2, a Windows Update enablement package that activates the features of 19H2 is downloaded. This * changes * the build number for the operating system from 19H1 Build 18362 to 19H2 Build 18363 . Because they use the same service content, the build revision number (the number that comes after the point) will always match between 19H1 and 19H2. As we continue testing our service packages in the Release Preview ring, Insiders in 19H1 and 19H2 will get a single cumulative update with the same fixes.
With two different development branches and the introduction of A / B tests in the Release Preview ring, the Windows Insider Program has become much more complex this year. We hope you don't need to be a computer to understand how the program works in the near future, but we hope all this helps Microsoft get better feedback on the new features that come with updates 19H2 and 20H1 for Windows 10.
