Panos Panay turned to leave the stage and the Surface event today after showing the Surface Pro 7, the Surface Pro X, the Surface headphones and next year, the Surface Neo. But he turned around again to show an early look at Surface Duo, a phone like the little brother of Surface Neo, which will arrive next holiday season.
The Duo, which seems to run the same Windows 10 X operating system as the Neo (update: several reports say that Duo is running Android. Initially he was confused because the video shows that the device "encompasses", a feature promoted by Windows 10X previously in the presentation. You can see it at approximately 1:21:30 of the Surface event video), but also with "all Android applications", this new device will feature dual 5.6 "screens.

Update, here & # 39 ; s the video "Introducing Surface Duo" that was shown at the event
We are hearing that some decisions about the Duo have not been finalized, as if including or not including a rear camera (¡a Lower camera phone in this day and age may not be a replacement for the phone!). We will continue to offer you the latest in Neo, Duo and all new Surface devices, stay tuned!
