The update of version 5.8 for Microsoft Launcher was only two weeks ago, complete with new features for IT administrators, as well as search optimizations, but a new beta version has already been released. Now, in version 5.9 (via MSPoweruser), the latest beta version is presenting a new calendar icon, as well as some other improvements.
With this beta version, the Calendar icon in the Microsoft launcher will now constantly display the correct date, similar to how it is in the iOS calendar application. The icon itself has also been updated with a more simplistic look. Apart from that, the launch is quite minor, it only includes general fixes for the anchor, the background, the calendar card and other performance improvements.
As always, you can enroll in the Microsoft Beta Launcher by visiting the list of applications in the Google Play Store from the following link and then touching the "Join the Beta" link. Once this beta trial period is complete, you can expect this same version to reach the standard version of the application.
