Microsoft helps users fix orange screenshots through Snip & Sketch

Several users complained about the screenshots of the Snip & Sketch application that had an orange tint after the Windows 10 update of May 2019, but it seems that the problem is not related to Windows 10. Microsoft updated a Support document with a solution for orange screenshots that states that the problem is related to the Lenovo Vantage Eye Care feature. The problem began around September 5, 2019, and both Microsoft and Lenovo have shared how to fix it (through OnMSFT).

The Lenovo Vantage Eye Care mode feature can make screenshots appear as if they had an orange filter. Lenovo has a guide on how to solve the problem. The solution to the problem varies depending on the version of Lenovo Vantage you are running.

This is not a rare problem with third-party eye care applications. Some eye care applications on Android phones create a similar problem. The solution to the problem is relatively simple in this case and Lenovo clearly describes it.
