Microsoft brings Google Assistant support to the Xbox One

Microsoft makes Google Assistant work with Xbox One console. Like the existing Alexa integration, Microsoft allows Google Assistant to do things like launch games and apps, turn the console on and off, pause video, and more. To control your Xbox One, you'll need to control your Xbox One using a device like the Google Assistant app for iOS or Android or Google Home. Google Assistant won't run on Xbox One itself. Instead, it receives commands from other devices running Assistant.

To access Google Assistant support on your Xbox One, you can sign up for a Google Group and activate it via the Google Home app for iOS. Set up a new device and find "[beta] Xbox" in the list to find the Xbox owner on Android or Android. Can specify the console name within the Google Assistant and allow commands such as "Hey Google, Xbox On" to work.
