Microsoft announces 2 new keyboards with dedicated emoji, search, and Office 365 keys

  Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard

Microsoft today announced a new Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard and a new Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard for release on October 15, within two weeks.

The Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard, as the name implies, is designed for the health and comfort of the wrist with a split keyboard, a cushion and a palm rest, while the Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard uses a rectangular form factor more traditional and can connect wirelessly to devices while it has two years of battery life.

What really distinguishes these keyboards though are their dedicated Windows 10 shortcut keys for Office 365, search, emoji, media controls and screen clipping. Microsoft's Bluetooth keyboard even seems to have a shortcut for the Windows 10 Your Phone application that is interesting.

While it may be difficult to offer dramatic improvements to keyboards, it is fascinating to see Microsoft drive specific Windows 10 functions in this way.

Pre-orders for the Microsoft ergonomic keyboard are now available on the Microsoft store website for $ 59.99, while the Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard sells for $ 49.99 and is also available for pre-order
