Microsoft acquires cloud file migration service Mover in bid to help customers move content to the cloud

Microsoft today announced that it has acquired Mover, a file migration service in the cloud. The company expects this to further increase its customers' capabilities to move content to the cloud and to Microsoft 365.

According to Microsoft, as part of this new acquisition, and working with Move, customers will be able to enjoy "fast and reliable migrations. to the cloud, with best practices and security and more connectors to more home systems. " Move already supports migration from many other services in the cloud and has "great experience and migration technology." Microsoft believes that this will help advance its initiatives to successfully advance companies to Microsoft Cloud and Microsoft 365 on the most efficient issue.
