Today, a busy professional announces a solution to help you upload your own audio files or record new files on the fly. All within Word. Once the audio is uploaded or recorded, Word (using your OneDrive account to safely store audio files and Azure Speech Services under the hood) can display the audio recording in the side panel and edit the relevant snippet or the entire document. The conversation itself automatically splits into speakers and related content, and the interactive panel makes it easy to skip recordings and find the perfect quote.
Audio recordings of Word are provided early. In the spring of 2020, Word for the Web was integrated into the Word desktop and mobile apps. The exact plan and price will be announced closer to general availability.
Enter data directly into Excel workbooks with digital pens
Excel can perform complex data analysis It's a very powerful tool, but you don't have to sit at your desk to use it. Today, people need to use paper and clipboard to write checklists, research reports, etc., and later enter the results into the computer. Or they walk around and try to balance the computer. To solve these problems, we have enhanced the capabilities of digital pens in Excel so that Firstline Workers, busy professionals, students and researchers can easily create, edit or delete values using only digital pens and tablets. Now it will be much easier to stay productive and connected to workers who can't always find a work desk.
Data entry using a digital pen can be used for web and desktop in Excel Spring 20365 for Office 365 subscribers.

Editing Ink-containing Editor documents is easier and more natural than ever, and now extends intelligence and digital ink expressiveness to the Annotation domain.
If you are using the interface and / or supported microphones on devices with touch, you can create expressive ink annotations directly in the annotation window or use dictation to provide feedback. Along with the traditional ink editor features, anyone reviewing a document can now use a tablet, digital pen, and voice to complete the task perfectly.
Ink annotations and easy dictation annotations in expressions are available from the Word desktop in the spring of 2020 for Office 365 subscribers.

Today at the Surface event, we introduced some new features of Office that leverage the unique features of Office. Latest hardware enhancements on Surface.
Surface Pro 7's new Studio Mics offers best-in-class audio capture without additional hardware, so you can get the most out of Office features like dictation and manuscripts.
Surface Earbuds can be used with PowerPoint to enable PowerPoint's live captions and subtitles and presenter coaches to work more accurately on the web through incredible microphones. Intuitive gestures let you navigate slideshows and start / stop videos without having to buy a separate remote. You can have only one in your ear for the best microphone capture, or you can navigate the slide by hiding the other invisible.
Surface Earbud gesture support comes with November's general availability. , From the PowerPoint desktop for Office 365 subscribers.
The portability of Surface Pro X makes it easy to use Excel to enter documents, whether you're entering data using Word Whether you're reviewing or on the go, you can be productive. Listen to customers to improve ink in the PowerPoint environment
We recently announced improvements to Office, including some additional features. Based on customer feedback, PowerPoint's overall ink usage experience includes improvements that are predominantly provided by pre-drawn ink playback in slideshows, teacher-led lessons using ink as slideshows on Windows and Mac, and PowerPoint slideshows. Includes the start of importing ink into Office for the web.

Ink playback is available for PowerPoint for Windows and Mac for Office 365 subscribers.
Ink is now available in slide show mode on the web for PowerPoint . You can now upload ink to the PowerPoint Editor from the web.
