LG’s 2019 OLED TV lineup with AirPlay 2 will hit stores starting in April

LG revealed the pricing plans and launch of some of its OLED 2019 TV shows, basically reflecting the company's playbook last year. These are some of the best TVs you can buy, so LG continues to value them as such.

Televisions of the 2019 C9 series (65 inches, 55 inches) and E9 (65 inches) will begin to be distributed in April. The 77-inch model of the C9 and the 55-inch E9 will hit stores a little later in May and June, respectively. And this year's update for LG's "wallpaper" TVs, which will be available in 65-inch and 75-inch sizes, will be released in June.

(If you were wondering, no, there is still no firm price or launch date for the amazing roll-up TV).

LG's TV brand can be quite confusing, but all these TVs share essentially the same screen quality and the latest features that the company announced for the first time at CES: they include AirPlay 2, built-in support for the commands Amazon Alexa voice, improved image processing and more. LG affirms itself as the only major TV manufacturer that offers both Alexa and Google Assistant out of the box, while other brands (Samsung, Roku TV, etc.) only support them through external speakers that may already have .

Televisions also feature HDMI 2.1, which prepares them for the future of any content (and almost any frame rate) that may be coming in the next few years.

But they differ in what is around the screen; The E9 series has glass on all four sides, most notably at the bottom. The C9 is not so elegant. And the W9 series (wallpaper) places the same screen in a design that is almost unfathomably thin.

LG has said that only its 2019 TVs will get the AirPlay 2 and HomeKit functionality; Other TV manufacturers, such as Samsung and Vizio, are also adding the useful feature to their older sets. It would be good if the company reconsidered this, but I have no hope.

The prices and launch months of the OL9 ThinQ C9, E9 and W9 LG TVs are shown below. I would recommend not buying them soon after launch, since LG OLEDs tend to see big sales near the end of the year.
