New details about Apple's next Tile type tracker in iOS 13 code have been discovered. Rumors of this feature built into iOS 13 have been circulating since last June when the Find My app was first announced. in WWDC. Now, according to MacRumors we have an even better idea of how Apple's tracking system could be.
An examination of the iOS 13 code revealed an image of "a small circular label with an Apple logo in the center." In addition, there is a new "Elements" tab in the Search My application, presumably to track things with the Tags
MacRumors describes a system in which you will be notified if you separate from your tagged item; You can then use the application to make the label create a sound. This is similar to the way Tile and other third-party article trackers currently work. However, a more unusual feature for Apple's implementation is the use of augmented reality to help you find your lost object after scanning the area with your iPhone.
The first references for the rumored label were reported by 9to5Mac in June when it was discovered in the first beta of iOS 13. However, according to the new leaks, it seems even more likely that Apple will offer its own item tracking system along with its new software.
Eager to try it? There is a good chance that we will discover more during the Apple September 10 event when the latest iPhone and Apple Watch models are introduced. Stay tuned and, meanwhile, try not to lose those keys.
