Instacart has just announced that a new grocery store pickup service will start in cities across the United States. The new pick-up option works with Instacart's delivery service to support many identical supermarkets.
Possible grocery delivery / pickup services must have a variety of retailers. Instacart offers a variety of purchasing options, including pickup and shipping, to maintain customer interest and stay competitive with products such as Amazon grocery stores, Prime Fresh or DoorDash.
Instacart's grocery store pickup service works with more than 200 retailers, including: Aldi, Cub Foods, Food Lion, Price Chopper, Publix, Schnucks, Smart & Final, Sprouts and Tops Friendly Markets.
Engaged stores include Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Minneapolis, Nashville, San Francisco and Washington DC. Once you download the app, you can search for and purchase the item you want, select the Instacart pickup option, and import it.
Instacart's delivery service has access to "more than 70% of US homes" and has more than 300 retail outlets, without eating groceries directly (not having to spend more money). The price of the delivery service is very simple. Instacart's Express members are free, and non-members are charged for location, time or retail partners.
