How to use the Thunderbird Send Later plug-in
If you want to add a send later function to Mozilla Thunderbird, it is just an add-on. /

Google started the trend of writing emails and then using a scheduled delivery feature. There is a good reason for that. Sometimes we want to elaborate our commercial missives and send them at optimal times. If you send an email to a client or co-worker in the middle of the night, that email could be buried in an inbox of other communications. So, why not compose it and delay shipping until the start of the business the next day?

Mozilla's Thunderbird does not have this feature built in, although it should. Instead, to obtain a post-shipment option, you must add a third-party add-in.

Let me show you how to install this tool and then how to use it.

Use Send later is not as initiative as one might think. The good news is that it is not difficult to use. To open the Send dialog box later, you must click File | Send later (in the compose window) or Ctrl + Shift + Enter keyboard shortcut (again, in the compose window of email).

When the dialog appears ( Figure C ), type exactly when you want the email to be sent in the Send to text area (in the form of "8:00 am Friday "or" 8/30/2019 08:00 "). If you do not want send the email at a specific time, you can choose to click on one of the predefined periods at the bottom of the box (15 minutes later, 30 minutes later or 2 hours later) and even make this an email recurring (thorough, daily, weekly, monthly or annual).

When you click on a time By default, the email will be automatically saved to send at the specified time, however, if you choose to use the Send to feature (where you specify a time), you must click the Send button (above the predefined times). [19659006] When you use the predefined times, the email that will be sent will be placed in the Outbox. When you choose a custom time, the email is placed in the Drafts folder. You do not need to do anything else to these emails, since Send later will automatically send them at the specified time.

And so, my friends, this is how you can add a post send function to the Thunderbird. Email client. It should be considered essential for advanced Thunderbird users and commercial users who know that an email that arrives at the right time can be the difference between being read promptly and lost in a flood of letters.
