You have a million tabs open and you need to turn off your computer. But you don't want to lose all the eyelashes. Here we show you how to mark all open tabs at once for the main desktop browsers.
You have been browsing the web, researching things, buying things, and you need to turn off your computer. But you don't want to lose where you were in your eyelashes. You can mark each tab individually, but that takes too much time.
While you are not using a private navigation window, your browsing history will be saved, which means that you could reopen previously closed tabs. But opening each previously closed tab individually also takes too much time.
There is an easy solution to mark all open tabs at the same time in each of the main desktop browsers. Today we will show you how in Chrome, Firefox, Vivaldi, Opera, the new Chromium-edge Edge and Safari.
Click on the Chrome menu button in the upper right corner of the browser
Hover over Bookmarks and then select Open page bookmark of the submenu.
In the dialog box Mark all tabs select where to create the new one folder for bookmarks. Select Bookmark bar to make the folder easily accessible.
Then, enter a Name for the folder and click Save .
Our bookmarks folder is displayed in the Bookmarks bar.
To open all bookmarks in new tabs to the right of the currently open tabs, right -Click on the new folder in the Bookmarks bar and select Open all (X) where " X "is the number of tabs saved in the folder.
You can also Open all (X) in new window or Open all (X) in incognito window .
To mark l Open tabs in Firefox, right click on any tab and choose Select all tabs .
Then, Right click on any tab again and select Bookmark tabs .
Select the folder Folder where you want to store the bookmarks. We choose Bookmark toolbar to make our bookmarks easily accessible.
Enter a Name for the folder that will contain the bookmarks for all open tabs.
Then, click Add bookmarks .
To open all bookmarked tabs, right-click on the new folder in the Bookmarks bar and select Open everything in tabs .
Marked web pages open in new tabs to the right of the currently open tabs.
In Vivaldi, you can mark all open tabs using the Tabs Sessions function.
To save all open tabs as a session, click on the Vivaldi menu in the upper left corner of the browser window (the red and white V), move the cursor over File and then select Save Op. is Tabs as session from the submenu.
In the dialog Save open tabs as session enter a name for the folder in which the bookmarks will be saved.
If you have several windows open and you want to save only the tabs open in the current window, check the box Save only tabs in the current window .
Click Save .
To open a saved session, click on the Vivaldi menu in the upper left corner of the Eyebrows in the window again, move the cursor over File and then select Open saved session from the submenu.
In the Open Session Dialog select the session you wish to open from the list.
The tabs of the saved session will open to the right of the tabs currently open in the current window. If you want to open the tabs of the session saved in a new window, check the box Open session in a new window .
Click Open .
You can also select a session and click Delete in the dialog box Open session to delete that session.
In Opera, you can save all open tabs, but they are not saved as bookmarks. They are saved in a Speed Dial folder.
To save all open tabs in a Speed Dial folder, right-click on any tab and select Save all tabs as Speed Dial folder .
The new Speed Dial folder with your saved tabs is called Folder by default.
To rename the new Speed Dial folder, move the mouse over the folder and click the … button shown. Then, select Edit title .
Enter a new Name in pop-up dialog box and click OK .
To open all tabs stored in the Speed Dial folder, move Mouse over the folder and click the … button again.
Select Open all in new tabs to open all tabs saved in new tabs in the current window.
You can also Open all in a new window or Open all in a new private window .
You can mark tabs in Edge, but Microsoft is working on your new Chromium- Bas ed version of Edge which is much better. We will show you how to mark all open tabs on the new edge based on Chromium.
To save the currently open tabs, click on the Edge menu (… ) and select Favorites .
In Add all tabs to favorites Enter a Name for the folder that will contain the saved tabs and select a folder to save the new folder. We chose the Favorites bar .
Click Save .
In the Favorites bar , right -Click on the new folder and select Open all (X) where " X " is the number of tabs saved in the folder. This opens all tabs saved in new tabs in the current window.
You can also Open all (X) in a new window or Open all (X) in an incognito window .
If you are using a Mac and you like Safari, you can also save all Tabs open in Safari.
Make sure Safari is the active application and then click on the Bookmarks menu at the top of the screen. Then, select Add bookmarks for these tabs X where “ X ” is the number of tabs open in the window.
In the dialog that appears, select where Add this folder to markers to in the drop-down list.
Next, enter a name for the new folder that will contain all bookmarks of all open tabs. The default name is Saved tabs .
Click Add .
To open all bookmarks saved in new tabs in the window Current Safari, first, make sure the sidebar is open on the left. Otherwise, click on the button Show sidebar at the top of the window.
Then, right-click on the new folder and select Open in new tabs .
Other options to save all open tabs
You can also save the URLs of all your open tabs by copying all the URL of all open tabs in your browser and pasting them in a text file or another file.
If you accidentally close Chrome or Firefox without saving open tabs, you can reopen closed tabs. But you can only do that tab at a time.
If you open the same set of web pages each time you open your browser, you can configure your browser to do it automatically for you.
