Microsoft has just removed the wrappers from Forza Street the finished title for what was a work-in-progress game called Miami Street. Today, the new racing game is available as a free title for Windows 10 users, with the Android and iOS versions "later this year".
Unlike Forza Horizon and Forza Motorsport Forza Street launches it into the life of street racing in Miami with a full garage of vehicles at its disposal. Start by choosing an event, settling in your lineup and then running out of the starting line. Your ultimate goal is to have classic and legendary vehicles, as well as winning races, of course. The developers of Turn 10 Studios, also owned by Microsoft, have implemented new and optimized controls for Forza Street that focus on syncing for a smoother direction, which is especially useful for mobile gamers.
While it is not a driving or racing simulator, there is a market for mobile games with recognizable brands. Satisfying the wishes of mobile racing fans usually falls in series such as Real Racing and Asphalt so it's an interesting change of pace to see Microsoft join the platform of mobile games with one of the largest racing franchises on the planet. If you are curious, you can download Forza Street in Microsoft Store to check it out for yourself.
