Former Microsoft employee sought to steal $10 million in digital currency from company

A couple of weeks ago we reported the previous leadership of Microsoft Surface and the collaboration of the NFL Jeff Tran was sentenced to twenty-eight months in prison for fraud and now it seems that another employee of the company will face criminal charges.

According to the Associated Press, a former employee of Microsoft of Ukraine is being accused by the US Attorney's office for stealing the digital currency while testing the company's online retail platform.

Twenty-five-year-old Volodymyr Kvashuk has been accused of stealing the digital currency and then reselling those assets for $ 2.8 million with the intention of buying a $ 1.7 million house and Tesla of $ 160,000 as part of his plan to deposit $ 10 million.

Kvashuk was fired by Microsoft in June 2018 but was only arrested on Tuesday, July 17, 2019, and is awaiting trial.

There are few details of the case at this time, since the United States Attorney's Office, Microsoft and Kvashuk have not responded to the inquiry
