Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp are experiencing problems this morning for users around the world. Facebook and Instagram are inaccessible, as news sources refuse to update and Facebook.com's main domain is not available. WhatsApp messages are not being sent or being received, and users of the main Facebook services have been directed to Twitter to comment that they have problems.
The cuts appear to have begun around 6:30 a.m. ET this morning, and they finish A month after Facebook experienced its worst service cut. Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram were inaccessible for hours last month, and it was not until more than 24 hours after Facebook finally made it all clear. Facebook blamed a "server configuration change" and apologized for the interruptions.
We communicate with Facebook to comment on the latest problems and update it accordingly.
