Stardew Valley the relaxed agriculture RPG that was originally released for Windows PC in 2016, is now available on Android. So far, the mobile version of the game has been exclusive for iOS, after reaching iPhone and iPad last October. For those who track, the release means that the game is already available on PC, Mac, Linux, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android and even the now defunct PlayStation Vita.
Apart from the control changes, The mobile version of Stardew Valley is the same game as its console equivalents. The basic objective is to build a farm from scratch by building and investing in increasingly expensive crops and livestock, but there are also a lot of characters with whom to build relationships and dungeon areas to search for high-level equipment and resources.
Like the iOS version of the game, you can import your existing save Stardew Valley from the Windows version by following the instructions in the game wiki. It's a much less complicated process on Android. Instead of having to use iTunes, simply connect your Android device to a PC and copy the files stored in your phone's internal storage.
The Android port of Stardew Valley is now available for $ 7.99 (£ 7.99). For that price, you get the full experience, without microtransactions to tempt you to spend more money.
