Estimated Download queue feature makes a comeback in latest Xbox One 1908 preview build

The Xbox One is about to receive another system update next month, and today, the estimated download queue feature that was briefly tested earlier this year is reappearing in the latest 1908 version for Beta preliminary version testers. This new feature will allow Xbox insiders to see the estimated time to finish downloads in My games and applications, and Microsoft is inviting insiders to share their comments about it in an Xbox Insider Hub survey.

It is worth noting that this feature is not "Live in the more advanced versions of the preliminary version of 1910 related to the next major Xbox One update that will take place in October. However, the head of the Starter Program Xbox, Brad Rossetti, explained on Twitter today that the Xbox team is studying the possibility of incorporating this estimated download queue feature in the 1910 compilations.

It is not yet guaranteed that the estimated download queue feature will reach the Xbox One 1908 update, and it all depends on the internal feedback. Microsoft has released a couple of updates minor Xbox One system in recent months, and the Xbox team has yet to share more details about other new features currently in process for the 1908 and 1910 updates.
