This week is a great week for The Division 2, and after having been teased gradually over the past month, the huge combined release of Episode 2 and Title Update 6 is here.
The main act is the new narrative content, Pentagon: The Last Castle. This takes place in two main missions preceded by an introductory mission takes you to the Pentagon after an invasion by forces of Black Tusk. It's your job resume the last castle and make sure Black Tusk does not have in its hands the secret technology found inside.
Episode 2 also brings two new missions classified only for holders of the Year 1 Pass, and immediate access to the new specialization, the technician. However, all players can begin the field investigation to unlock the Technician from the beginning. The narrative content of Episode 2 will be available exclusively for pass holders Year 1 for a week from October 15 before be available to all players. And the change log is absolutely huge. I highlighted some in our preview, but want to read the full patch notes to learn each correction, profit, new feature and more. Some highlights are changes in the way the Dark Zone is filled, a new loot selection system and a new map and game mode added to Conflict.
If it all sounds very exciting but have not tried The Division 2, there is even better news. Coinciding with the release is a free game weekend, although the contents of Episode 2 will be excluded.
