Energizer’s 18,000mAh phone-battery monster is an Indiegogo flop

The name of the Energizer was outstanding at Mobile World Congress this year. The Android smartphone prototype consisted of a huge battery about one inch thick. Energizer Power Max P18K Pop wanted Avenir Telecom, a licensed mobile phone battery brand, to mass produce and market this summer, with 18,000mAh of Avenir Telecom this summer. After its successful MWC debut, the P18K Pop showed up at Indiegogo at an early price of $ 549, a promised delivery window in October 2019, and an optimistic target of $ 1.2 million in total funding.

Today the Avenir's Indiegogo campaign energizer (on-a-phone-in-it) ended with flashing glare. The campaign seemed to have nothing because the campaign was less than 99% less than the original goal and all funds were fully funded. Nevertheless, there is a rational argument that Avenir Telecom can not go beyond the prototype stage with P18K Pop because there are a few companies that primarily use crowdfunding platforms as marketers.

The company's calculus says, "Let's do something to attract people's attention and throw it at a funding goal that is unlikely to be thrown into the Indigo Goos." People say that the Energizer brand's Brick-Phone-Battery Hybrid is a fun and exciting hybrid I found the product, but when it came time to pay to change it into a real product, my enthusiasm was much less abundant.

Oh, at least now we know that there is a limit to our desire for a bigger battery.
