Cortana gets a male voice and Outlook for iOS integration in leaked video

Microsoft's Cortana Assistant is bringing new features later this year, and for the first time, adds voice options, including male voice, and integration with the Outlook app on iOS. User @ h0x0d .

The new Outlook feature appears to be a major improvement around the new "Play My Email" feature, where Cortana can see new briefs as miniature briefings. During the briefing, you can use your voice to sort or flag the conversation.

This video also shows "male" voice options for the Smart Assistant. This is the first time for Microsoft and it is an addition to the platform. Unfortunately, this video doesn't actually have audio for the sound of the new voice, so you have to wait until Microsoft officially releases this feature.

New Cortana features for Windows (including "Simple" mode) is a new scheduling tool that allows you to create daily synopsis of calendars and meetings in your inbox and add meetings to your calendar.

It's not clear when Microsoft will release these new features for Cortana, but tweets from h0x0d & # 39; appear to be arriving later this year.
