CompUSA resurrected as a sad affiliate deals site

CompUSA.com is back on the partnership trading site this time. The company was acquired by DealCentral (transaction hunting and coupon specialist) earlier this month. According to DealCentral CEO Yishai Grossman, the return visit was strategically ahead of Black Friday and the holiday season.

This new site provides employee and user reviews of products with deals on laptops, televisions, and other technology products. Grossman says he hired "an editing team that combined decades of experience in trading spaces," including Slickdeals, eBates and FatWallet. "Getting CompUSA is meaningful to us on many levels," Grossman said. "Outside the gate, you can deliver the best deals, sales and offers on the web in one place at partner stores like Walmart, Amazon and Best Buy."

CompUSA has done a series of acquisitions since its closure. Fortunately this will be the last resting place.
