Collections comes to Edge Insider Canary channel, makes organizing web pages easier

Collections reaches the Edge Insider Canary channel, facilitates the organization of web pages

Microsoft is introducing a new experimental feature for Edge Insiders in the Canary channel. Users can now organize the web pages they wish to save for later in "Collections".

Of course, since this is a highly experimental feature, so it will be hidden in the browser's flag menu for now. To enable it, you will want to download or update the Canarian version of Edge, then type in the address bar edge: // flags # edge-collections and change the settings from Default [19659007] to [19659006] Enabled .

Once enabled, you can access the Collections menu from the browser toolbar, where you can start a new collection. The company facilitates the addition of elements in three different ways: by clicking on the Add current page button while the Collections menu is open; add links, images and text from the context menu; or by dragging and dropping them into the collection while the menu is open.

Microsoft explained in its blog post that the function can be used for a multitude of use cases, and saving items from shipping locations is especially useful since the Collections menu can show prices and customer ratings. Other web pages will show the most relevant text and the featured image of the site, while the images added to the collection will be shown a bit larger for greater visual ease.

This feature, of course, is still under development, and Microsoft promises new features that will come later. As always, the company is looking for comments about it, so if you're prepared, make sure you try it and let them (and we in the comments) know what you think. Also, if you like something without many potential errors, the Beta channel is now officially available.
