If you still use Google Chrome on your Windows 10 PC, it's time to look for an update. Google is now implementing Chrome 78 on Windows 10 and Mac, as well as Linux. The new browser version comes complete with some new customization capabilities on the new tab page, as well as a click-to-call feature for some users (via 9to5Google)
Starting first with the new customization options, the Chrome users can now customize the new tab page in some different methods. This includes changing the shortcuts according to the websites visited, creating new shortcuts or hiding shortcuts. Some users also have a new color and theme option, which allows you to choose one of the preset themes, or choose a color picker option that allows you to customize your own color.
Next, there is the click for -call feature. This option is now displayed for all users and appears to be in A / B tests. As the name implies, every time you highlight and right-click on a phone number, the Chrome browser will allow you to send it to a phone Android Once sent to the phone, you can touch a notification and have it dial the number for you. It will be interesting to see if this same feature will go to the Microsoft Chromium-based Edge browser.
Other features that are implemented with this version of Chrome include a redesigned overlay when hovering over a tab, as well as a planned integration with the Password Checkup extension. If you are not running Google Chrome, you can download it here.
