Customers expecting Samsung's Galaxy Fold shipment may have received another bad signal: Best Buy reportedly canceled all orders for the delayed folding phone due to the lack of a new Samsung release date.
In an email sent to customers, Best Buy noted that "with innovative designs and technology there are many obstacles and the possibility of facing a lot of unforeseen setbacks. These obstacles have led Samsung to postpone the launch of the Galaxy Fold, and Samsung has not provided a new release date. "Best Buy has decided to cancel all current advance orders for the Samsung Galaxy Fold."
The announcement comes a month after Samsung announced that our customers are the first and we want to make sure they are taken care of in the best possible way. that it would indefinitely delay the Galaxy Fold while trying to address the various problems that arose in the review units it had distributed (including the original revision device of The Verge ). AT & T had previously released a June 13 release date after the delay announcements, but since then the operator has eliminated that estimate. Samsung announced in early May that it would also cancel advance orders from customers who have not confirmed they still want a fold by May 31 due to federal regulations.
