AT&T TV Now's newest plans are about to go up in price

AT&T confirmed today to CordCutters that the increases are reaching two of its newest transmission plans, as well as four older players that are not offered to new subscribers.

Here is the essence:

People received the news of an email announcing an upcoming price increase in the base plan "Plus" (which does not have most of the channels but does include HBO), going from $ 50 a month to $ 65 a month. But that is just the beginning.

The next step: the "Max" plan, which adds a lot of sports channels, will go from $ 70 per month to $ 80 per month. Other plans in the current scheme – Entertainment ($ 93), Choice ($ 110), Xtra ($ 124), Ultimate ($ 135) and Optimo Mas in Spanish ($ 86) are not affected by the price increase.

The new price officially goes into effect on November 19 (or every time your next bill expires).

The reason, did AT&T tell us? It is more expensive to receive the shows. Here is the statement they sent us:

In addition to the changes in the Plus and Max plans, the plans inherited from AT&T TV Now, as you can no longer obtain them, will also see price increases.

The old "The Live a Little Plan" will increase to $ 60 per month. "Just Right" is directed at $ 75 per month. "Go Big" will now be $ 85. And "Gotta Have It" will increase to $ 95 per month.

Price increases of this type are not so infrequent; In fact, we almost expected it. And it's been six months (almost until the day) since the old DirecTV Now introduced this "Plus" plan in the first place.

The question now is whether other transmission services will follow suit. We have seen one service increase prices in the past, only to be quickly followed by another.
